I have captcha installed and working in 4.6.3. It runs for registration just fine. I have it configured in settings to run for anonymous comments as well, and it doesn't. Yes, in access it is setup for all roles to access captcha.

I have added comments many times (not logged in) and yet captcha does not come up. Not even a broken image or any of the fields. It's as if the comments field in captcha settings was never even checked.

what can I do?

never mind, read the other thread...it seems this is hopeless without patching...
