I set the block region to "header" for a nice menu block. I'm using Garland theme. The menu appears above the site name and logo.

Does anyone know a good way to place the menu below the logo?

You need to either move the header region under the logo in your page.tpl.php, move it with CSS or call the primary nice menu directly in your theme rather than using a block for it.
