Hi,

I have some users which registered with for example 24 characters long user name. If they are viewing their user name account page, they see their name in full length. But when they post some story, there is only 17 characters of their name shown - 14 characters from name plus 3 characters "..." so result is:

original user name: Mgr. Hana Bekarkova
name above story posted: Mgr. Hana Beka...

When I looked into users page, I see that all users exceeding lenght of 17 characters are trimmed to 14 characters and added "..." at the end.
I know maximum username lenght is 56 characters, so why it is doing this? If I click certain user's account, I see his user name unchanged.

Can somebody explain it?

I am experiencing the same problem... Any idea of how to prevent a poster's name being chopped off at 14 characters at the bottom when they submit a post? Thanks.

Hey, I'm getting users complaining left and right about this. Anyone know how to specify what to do or how to patch?
