I only requested ownership of this dead/unpublished project node this morning. You jumped on it before I noticed they had acted on my ticket. I've updated the description now :)

This module will eventually morph into a much more agile general purpose module. I plan to get it to a point where it will be extremely useful for annotating user submitted content (eg. student papers). As it is now, it just sits on top of the comment module. Please feel free to submit feature requests.

TEASER: We have a very functional image annotation module in the pipeline.

Seriously, this sounds great. We have some work in the pipeline where annotation will be very useful -- not a critical piece, but an attractive additional component. We'll test this (probably in the next 3-4 weeks) and go from there.

Seriously though, we are developing the core functionality for the specifics of the current client, but really want to get this back to the community as a general use module. I can't think of a better way to do it than to get some feed back.
