Open an existing node, set with at least two terms. Remove one of the terms and try to save the node. Notice that the term change isn't applied - it keeps the original two terms assigned. I found this with a story node, on drupal CVS (to be 4.7).

James Addison commentedUpdating the project to be Drupal core (the node.module)
asimmonds commentedI can't reproduce this, what is the vocabulary configuration?
James Addison commentedI have two vocabularies, both for story nodes: "Personal" and "Other". Under each vocabulary, I have multiple terms. The problem arises when I have two terms from the same vocabulary initially selected.
I hope this helps.
Uwe Hermann commentedCannot reproduce in CVS HEAD. Please give the CVS version a try and report if the problem still occurs.
jaddison commentedUnable to reproduce anymore - this is a really old defect.
