maybe insert snippet of help text for managed ads not showing up

When I created an ad in my google adsense account, then enabled the block on my drupal site (after inserting the ad_slot ID), the ad was not showing up. I spent about a good 30 mins searching the issue queue and didn't find an answer.

Stupid me...I did not realise (as Google quite rightly said) that the ad may take up to 10 minutes to show up once you create it from within your google adsense account.

So my suggestion is to put a little snippet of help text under Help and Instructions in the Managed Ads tab saying just that.

Something to the effect of "When you create your ad in your Google Adsense account, it may take up to 10 minutes to show up on your site".

I'm pretty sure this will serve to be useful to someone in the future.
