Text welcome email overriden

Hi,

Thanks for this great module. I experience though a strange problem I can't find any answers for on the Drupal site.
When I activate Login Toboggan my users are not getting the text for the welcome email message as set under user setttings. The email sent out contains very little data, some "@" and other codes.
Can anybody help out what this could mean?
