I made a new drupal website and need to delete the old one, but apparently I don't have any permissions over the files folder anymore as administrator... The whole website is deleted instead of this folder, and the images folder... Any way I can delete them?

Have you checked the unix file permissions for directories and files. you might want to change them if they are set to read only for the owner.

I did change their permission with an FTP but they switch back...

I remember having similar issue some time back. For some reason, i was not able to change the permissions of a parent directory, if it had a read only file or directory as a child or as a grandchild.

try changing the permissions of innermost read only files and directories and then try to delete them.

Apparently I don't have permission to change anything around there, trying to change any file gives an access denied error. I'm sure someone managed to take care of that...? :/

That's still an issue, I have a big files folder on my server that takes up space and can't be deleted.
Any help would be great.

Edit: Nevermind, problem solved.
