I'd like to be able to sort a view of Organizations by various fields, specifically the active, provider and customer check boxes. These would allow me to get a view of all our active customers or all our active providers.

A Project is different from an Organization, that's why I created a separate issue here, but I'm not opposed to merging the two and renaming the other a bit more generically. Perhaps "Expose Content Type Filter Fields to Views"

A project is not different from an Organization for views module because they are all table fields.
Now i've no time to improve my patch, but with it for a php developer should be quite easy to expose Project fields to views.

I'm going to mark this as a duplicate of #320801: Expose Storm fields to Views.

I realise that there are differences between the two issues, but think that it would be useful to have all of the comments on views integration in one (slightly more general) place.
