My URL filter definitely is not working. I'm constantly getting spam with tons of links in it. I'm making the content as spam and then banning IP addresses, but they keep coming back from different IP addresses. I keep getting comments like this in my forums:
mammamia; prozac; prozac; buy cheap prozac online; prozac; prozac buy; buy prozac; prozac; prozac; prozac order online; buy generic prozac online; prozac; generic prozac; prozac; uk prozac generic; purchase cheap prozac online; cheap prozac; prozac generic; uk prozac cheap; prozac; prozac canada; uk prozac; prozac; buy prozac; prozac cheap; prozac; generic prozac usa; prozac; buy prozac canada; prozac; prozac; prozac; prozac; prozac generic; cheap prozac usa; prozac; online prozac; prozac; prozac; prozac; prozac; order prozac; buy prozac; prozac; prozac buy online; prozac; generic prozac; buy prozac; prozac; buy cheap prozac; prozac;
I have "Comments" and "Forum topics" as content to filter. I also have the URL filter on. Is this a bug in the URL filter or is the URL filter not working for me at all? I have the URL filter at a gain of 250 with -6 weight. I just changed the weight to 0 as a test, but this is definitely not working as desired. Please help.

I've installed Mollom and disabled the Drupal spam module. Mollom is working great and is preventing this problem. Details here.
#2
The URL filter module was not fully ported to 5.x-3.0 -- it's still missing a GUI. Acknowledging that there is likely a bug here, to review before rolling another release.

I finally tracked this down to another issue:
