Description
Hi,
First thank's for this great module i use it every day ...
My request please :
Is there possible to ensure that Alinks takes the words with or without accents and singular or plural word for a single unit?
For example: catégorie = categorie = catégories = categorie : all this will words should be linked to the same url ...
Thank you.

See this http://drupal.org/node/138524
It relates to Plurals causing problems, the opposite of part your issue, but it may provide a clue to solve part of your problem.
Making it automatic to replace "variant" would in my opinion be bad, as there are many cases where similar looking words should not be linked ( I run a multilingual site)
For the moment the only way i can see is creating each link, though maybe there could be an option for a "Synonym" of the word to be added to the same entry and then the word or synonym are matched. Thiis at least would give easier control over several links to the same destination

It would be very nice to have the accents thing ruled out. I dont care about plurals. But accents are really a problem. For exemple, let's say i have in a post the word blé. And then i create a alink for blé. Well it simply dont work. The accentuated word is not linked anywhere. If i try to remove the accent from the alink module it doesnt work either. The only i can have the link function is by removing the accent from the word in the post. But of course this is not what i want since that'S a grammar fault.... any hints??
