Hey, Stuart. First, thanks for this module. Once I get it working, it should be great.

Now about getting it working...

I don't think this is a Flash Node or even an SWF Tools issue per se, but perhaps somebody in here can give me some guidance on how to solve it.

Basically, both modules seem to be working just fine. When I upload an flv through Flash Node, the new node saves with the assigned player in full view, but the flv does not load. The files are uploaded to sites/default/files/flash, as per Flash Node default, and SWF Tools is pointed to the same folder. No errors are displayed anywhere. I got errors when SWF Tools was pointed at sites/default/files, but since overriding the default target, I have seen no errors at all.

I have the same problem when I attempt to display an flv in the body of a post using FCK Editor's Flash button, even when player and file are in the same folder (e.g., /sites/default/files/flash/player.swf?=video.flv). The player appears in the preview window, but the file does not load.

Diaporama, which runs Flash slideshows from xml, works perfectly on the same site.

I had similar but not identical problems. Make sure the node is published.

Thanks dleeward. They publish on upload.

I've just tried an mp3. No problem. Uploads and loads.

It's something about flv files.

Problem solved -- sort of. I didn't realize this issue would apply to 6.x-3.0. It does. Installed FlowPlayer 2.2 (available here) and am now happy.

I just wish I'd thought to try a different player. Here I thought my server wasn't supporting flv files anymore! Stupid.
