Hello
I'm playing around now for a while with drupal 6. The search function works, but I want it also to find substrings.
eg. if there's a word "spotlight" in an article, a search for "spot" or "light" should return that article.
I've looked for some custom code, but I couldn't find anything usable.
As substring search works default in Joomla I'd be very pleased to have it in Drupal too.
Who can tell me how to get it working?
thanks a lot
bye

For english there's the http://drupal.org/project/porterstemmer module, and iirc, there's some for other languages. Perhaps a look at the code might be useful.
