To avoid confusions
My module has only 83 lines (without the license lines). It doesn't create any thumbnail and/or resized image and it doesn't have an upload part.
It is a node post filter which simply replace a src="..." text (regular expression).
The user must create and upload their thumbnails (I use the upload.module for this) but this is not big a problem, I think.
