Is there any ability to trigger actions with file uploads and moves? Our client needs to manage a bunch of documents and wants the appropriate users to get an e-mail when a new file is uploaded that they have permissions on.

There isn't that ability at the moment. That's one of the things we hope to do after document search has been released
