I am an independent web designer/developer seeking some extra muscle to integrate the Mailchimp module into an existing site: Mia Za's Cafe. Users can create Accounts (standard Drupal) and Profiles (Nodeprofile). The site owner will be sending promo email to users who have completed their Profile using Mailchimp.
The idea is to combine the User email addresses and their Profile fields into a downloadable CSV (already in place using Views Bonus pack, minus the crucial email addresses!) which the owner can use to import into Mailchimp. If there is a better way, the money is there for you to figure it out and/or tell me! This would be a great thing to release (documentation or additions to the modules above) to the Drupal community.
Needed from You
- Get Nodeprofile to access/use/read User email address (or fuse that Usernode field... whatever is best)
- Configure Mailchimp module and test subscribe/unsuscribe to my approval
- All Theming will be handled by me
Notes
- Budget: $200-500 USD
- Site: built with Drupal 5.x with custom theme. All work will take place on Dev site. I will migrate your code.
- Server: Linux dedicated with SSH/SFTP access
- Views: User and Profiles views and content exist
- Mailchimp: testing account exists now. Production account will be created when needed by me.
BONUS
Add unique (semi-random, based on UID?) number within delivered email. This one is worth an extra bounty.
About me
Unlike a lot of freelancers, I don't get stiffed by clients and I always pay my bills. I under promise and over deliver, especially when it comes to money. I have a good reputation and so do my clients. I aim to keep it this way. I've been working as and hiring designers and developers for a long time now, so when you work with me back-and-forth is minimal.
I need to IM and/or talk to you before proceeding with any work. I provide will downpayment as required.
On that note, thank you everyone in the Drupal community for your support and hard work. It's worth it!
Much respect,
Neil Baller
