Unfortunately, I am unable to reproduce this error. Could you provide some more info? Specifically, the following questions:

1. Have you tested with the admin_hover module both enabled and disabled? You probably have, but gotta cover all bases here...
2. Are core and all modules up-to-date? If not, what versions of Drupal and devel are you running?
3. What operating system are you running, and are both Firefox and Firebug up to date? If not, what versions?
4. Is there any more information you could provide? Possibly a screenshot?
