Default enable some/all video providers (like image providers) and offer an explanatory message if no providers are enabled.

I figured it out! First you have to go to admin and enable the providers you want in admin/content/emfield. Then those show up as the ones you can choose from in your field. Good luck! If you need a screen shot just ask!

ISchier770, thanks for posting your fix when you figured it out! This is one of those little pieces that needs better documentation.

Some defaults and a message if no providers are available providing a link to the config section would resolve this and get rid of future support requests from confused site admins. I had the same problem - what confused me was image providers are on by default where video providers are off.

This is how the current dev version works. Closing.

You need to download all those providers modules that you need. Refer this link for more details: http://drupal.org/project/emfield

Here you can find all those providers modules which you have to install into the drupal instance as you install any other module.

The code that provides custom URLs was commented out for some unknown reason.
