Description

I created a block through views which has the buddylist: action link as a field, with a UID argument to appear on nodes which the user has authored. The block is set to show the user picture and the buddylist action link, so when people view a node that the user authored, they have an ability to add that particular user to their buddylist. However, when they do, a message appears at the top of the screen that says "This user does not exist." This is of course untrue, as the user does exist.

I have done some searching on the issue and I have come up with some threads such as here:

http://drupal.org/node/75520

But all of them dealt with a 4.7x installation, whereas I'm running 5x.

This issue is quite problematic as users are unable to add people to their buddylists because of it.

If you need any more information which you think might be helpful, its no problem.

Thanks for your help!

Hey is there any chance someone has taken a look at this? It's a rather critical issue...

Anyone? Anything? Surely someone else thinks that this issue is important, perhaps it just got lost in the queue....
