When editing my pages using tinymce/Wysiwyg, I find that the link classes that I have set are stripped from the code. I have tried reducing the number of filters that I am using, to no avail.

This behaviour is seen when:
Using tinymce/Wysiwyg to edit code that previously contained classes, or when tinymce/Wysiwyg is told to insert a link with a given class using the tinymce advanced links module.
TinyMCE/Wysiwyg is set not to use any of the options in the cleanup/output section of preferences
there are no filters enabled

When switching from Wysiwyg to raw view and back, any classes that I insert in raw view disappear, and changes that I make using wysiwyg/tinymce/advanced link do not show up.

Any ideas?
