WOW Just uninstalled Views from a Drupal site in a subfolder and all my files wiped out.

I am urgently trying to fix this and I have NO idea what happened.

I was uninstalled Views from Drupal's admin in a subfolder of my public folder on Hostgator.

It was a manual install not cpanel

I have used this domain for tons of beta test sites. I have Joomla and Drupal and WP sites in subfolders all with separate datbases.

The uninstall of Views stuck and when I refreshed I got a 500 Error.

Every php file in the public folder was wiped. There are NO sites remaining.

When you say 'uninstall views' you mean via the "uninstall" tab at admin/build/modules?

Sorry, but that's simply impossible. There's absolutely nothing in the views.install file, or any module's .install file for that matter, that touches anything in the file system (which is why you still have to delete module folders manually after using the uninstall tab). All the uninstall does is remove database tables. You should probably follow up with your host-- it's much more likely they screwed up.

of course hostgator always

of course hostgator always blames the script.

I just remember i uninstalled the File Framework also.

Maybe that was it?

Either way I am royally screwed.

I dont have backups because they were all test sites but I had some custom drupal blocks I would rather not rethink
