I was working my way toward OG notification and installed Token, Messaging, and started on Notification when I got a whitescreen after the update and now I can't get that page by any route. In the status report I see:

No sending method plug-ins available. Please enable some Sending Method on the Modules administration page.

I guess I should have enabled Plain, since we will be using just ordinary mail, but now how do I get there to enable it?

Never mind, I guess ... I changed the permissions on the notifications module to 000 and then the modules page would display, allowing me to check simple mail. Then, putting permissions back to 755, all is well.
