We are loooking for an experienced Drupal Coder to build a site for us. We hired a developer and paid him only to find out later that the code was unusable due to him hacking the core modules. This is what we are looking to do.

1. Multi Domain with Subscriptions
* Anyone can create an account which would give them a subdomain xxx.oursite.com
* Subscriptions would be handled through paypal
* Ability to trial run site for 3 months before paying

We believe this can all be done with standard modules.

2. RSS aggregator

* aggregate yahoo pipes feeds
* Rank entries in the feed on three categories

This part we originally did with a customized Drigg and worked fine

3. Custom Modules

The coder made several custom modules which is where the problems started to crop up

1. Summary
* This module shows the number of entries in the database and summarizes how many of them are Good, Bad, or Neutral

2. Filter

* This module allowed us to show all results from certain, dates, categories, tags, and domains.

3. CSV export

* This module exported all of the entries in the database in a CSV file that was easy to import into excel

4. Custom Tag Cloud

* This tag cloud module was a Tagedelic module that would change the color of tags based on the percent of entries that were positive negative or neutral.

5. Simplified Admin Module

* This module was just a very simplified version of the Drupal adminster module with only the items a subscriber would need to adminster the feeds, categories, and users.

Again, we have a "working" prototype but it is very buggy and we cannot upgrade it since the core modules were hacked. You are welcome to try and use the old code but our consultant seems to believe that the best bet is to start from scratch. After our experience with the original developer we are only interested in people who are looking to spend the time to properly document and comment their code as well as adhear to the best practices of programming. This project could become a long running gig as we have lots of future plans for the site.
