For some reason when I play the uploaded mp3, sound is distorted and it has too much noise. This is happening only in IE7 and not in FF3. And my OS is XP. Interestingly, you semo runs fine in IE7.

What could be the problem?

Do you know what kHz the file is? Somethings that will affect it. 44.1000 works well for me. Otherwise I'm not sure. Check the bitrate as well.

247 Kbps 48 KHz

Try encoding at 44.1 kHz and a more constant bitrate like 256Kbps or 192kbps
