I'm not sure if I installed wrong or have a setting misconfigured but
the tag page itslef works fine, displaying a list of all terms yet
when I click any term, it returns no results.
I have it set to my forum vocab which returns taxonomy/term/47
Could this be a pathauto issue?

I found the problem.
For some reason the Views override was not including the taxonomy I was using.
