It works fine with all kind of registered users, but it doesn't work at all with visitors. Any clue?

My guess is that you have some form of Drupal caching turned on. If I recall, this was a problem in D5.

Thanks! It works now without caching, but I've read that it affects the average speed at my site, isn't it? Can I have other solution than this one?

At this point in time I have no other solution. That doesn't mean there is no other solution, it just means I haven't looked for a work around yet.

Only you can judge if this seriously impacts on your site, but unless you site is very heavily utilized or running on seriously overtaxed hardware, it probably won't be a show stopper.
