I discovered this issue with a site was involved with, thinking Drupal.org would have a working example I came over here to discover it was not the case. No events anywhere even though the calendars are full.

The solution was to edit the the Calendar view, specifically the "ical" calendar view and change the default date filter from last updated to the actual CCK date field relevant to that content. This is from memory but is where the solution lies.

This is getting troubling. I want to be able to share the iCal feed for my group and also add it to my Google Calendar, but I discovered it's just plain empty. :(

The site-wide feed works fine for me as well. Is it intentional that a group block doesn't link to a calendar with just that group's items?

I'd still consider this not working since there are no links to the ical feeds on the group pages.

Yay! The site wide feed is working now.

But group-specific feeds don't seem to be working yet.

I just created a Yahoo Pipes iCal feed for the Toronto region by filtering on the time zone; other local groups could easily clone my feed and use it for now:
