Nice module,
But the default value 'is' was very hard to find for translation - there are a zillion strings containing 'is'.
I had to hack the code and change it to 'is right now...' which was much easier to find.
Maybe you'll consider changing that in the next versions ? drupal have gone such a long way for us non-english speakers.

I probably ought to make the output formatting configurable in the administrative interface. Usage patterns on Facebook are changing over time, and in addition, the module can pull in data from other sources.

After a review, I'm closing this issue. The string "is" does not come from this module.

The fbstatus module fetches an RSS feed from Facebook (or potentially some other service). It displays the title of the top item, intact. If the user's status is in some language other than English, it will be displayed just as the user wrote it.
