Firstly great module , i have been looking for a functionality like this one .
Secondly I would like to request the ability to archive all attached files found on a node(page), then allow user(admin) to download them and save to disk .

this is not the topic of this module but it needs to build a separate one
i will try to see what i can do, but if you would like to build one, feel free to do it :)

Youpie !!!!!!! FANTASTIC.
A thousands thanks for this module , Many people here have been looking for this functionality for years, but nobody really took it upon themselves to code it .
Thanks for this great module .
Also what would be even great in addition to restricting it per content types , is the ability of having the little archive icon displayed on every node by default , then users can disabled it by per node basis (like the" show block on specific pages " ) , this could be ("show archive icon on specific pages, users will then enter one page per line or even use wildcards ...

Anyhow a million Thanks once again .

there are a lot of functionalities that can be made with this module
i think that a cck checkbox can be fine
but this is not the topic here, maybe you can ask suggestions in the new module issues :)
i let you inaugurate the new issue queue ( but you bring the champagne with you )
