Best modules for sorting through content / products

Hey all, I have been personally using drupal since version 4.5. I am in the middle of building the largest site I have ever created and I need your help ! ok here is my dilemma:

I have convinced the company where I work to allow me to develop our new site in Drupal, it has been coming along excellent. Problem is, I am quickly finding out we will have too much content - we are a promotional company, we do screen printing, embroidery, as well as sell other promotional products, I need a better way to allow customers to sort through between 10,000 products - this might grow to over 100,000 products.

I would love a way for someone to be able to narrow down their choices by taxonomy, like click on Garments, then Short Sleeve, then even by color and it spits out the products in a grid view .

I have just installed DHTML Menu whith Taxonomy Menu which might work, I also installed Taxonomy Quick find which appears totally useless.

Any guidance in this issue would be grateful.
