I'm dealing with multiple CCK content types, and would like to generate a different email for each type. However, by default there appears to be only one "Node Create Event" message part. How do one of the following:

  • Throw all the tokens into one message part and not have tokens fields print appear when their cck field is not present
  • Create a new "Node Create Event" message part specifically for each content type

Since I'm not a programmer, the second might prove difficult. Advice?

After much research and reading this thread http://groups.drupal.org/node/12645, I realized that this is simply not a a feature yet. As I'm not the only one who strongly needs it, I hope it will make it to the top of your list.

Yes, that's how tokens work atm.

Some new module will be released in the next days to address this issue, cannot tell you more now...
