Is there no one who has an answer? is this project dead or something?

It's not dead, because they just released a new version. This happens to me too, you just have to wait until someone has done it or the developer of the module stops by. I need to know this also, but will post back once I've figured it out.

Look at that, I hadn't noticed this issue.

The documentation on how to set up WLW Blog API can be found at http://www.masterthebusiness.com/2008/09/11/windows-live-writer-and-drup...

These steps work - at least on the 6.x branch, a couple of times a month we help customers with new sites set up WLW to work with Drupal 6, I just helped a new member of our staff set it up to work with 2 different node type just today.

If you are having problems getting it set up and working with your Drupal instance after following the directions reply and let me know what happened.

Thanks J! That did it, but I have a question. I'm not able to post my images without using a ftp server (I had to install FileZilla). Will this be a added feature to the module on the next release or am I missing something I need to configure?

Vc Developer,
this feature is already enabled, you do have to make sure that the upload module is enabled, and configured to accept the types of files you want to allow, and that you have permission to upload files.

Oooops!, I didn't make that clear.

WLW is not allowing me to include the picture with the post. It's not creating the link to the image, but it's uploading the image to correct folder. What else am I missing to configure, because I read the doc's on wlw and it mention that I have to link the picture myself after the post is complete.

Are you doing the same thing or how are you linking the image to your post? It does the same thing when I post a Page node.

Oh Wait! I just edit the post and it does shows the image in fckedit....., Soooooooo... what config am I missing for it to display in the Blog Entry nodes?

Uhmmmmmm......

But...., I have other issue needing cleared up. When I post, full html is not enabled, I have to always enable it to show the iamge. What do I need do to correct this?

The way we have done it is go to admin/settings/filters and change the default filter to full html.

I Apologoze, but I can't find the path you have posted. Are you referring to the fckeditor. Would you specifically post the path to this filter. My Navigation Link looks like this:

Administer
.....Content management
.....Site building
.....Site configuration
..........site config module stuff.
.....User management
.....Reports

I would appreciate it! Thanks!

"admin/settings/filters" is the url path for the configuration page

admin => Administer
settings => Site Configuration
filters => Input Filters
