There is no option within the code for the users personal contact form to be assigned an auto alias, this patch would fix that.

Adds a catagory on Administer › Site building › URL aliases › Automated alias settings for User Contact Path Settings

Code in the patch file is correct however since I done have CVS this was from a local version.

Thanks, will.gresham. This is really a feature request and therefore should be added to 6.x-2.x-dev branch of the code.

I'd also like to see the default be empty. If we create more aliases than necessary it causes performance problems. So, these defaults should be blank.

Probably much better would be to use http://drupal.org/project/subpath_alias and since there hasn't been any traction on this in the last year.
