Failed to parse RSS feed Live IT News: 10060 A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.
I am getting my RSS from BBC technology group. when i try to update the item , it pops up with the above error. I have checked some of the answers posed in relation to the topic , but couldn't help.
I am using drupal-4.6.3, apache.1.3.3 as web server. I have checked the updates that is posted for drupal cvc , but it doesn't help. THe thing is i am behind a firewall. If that makes adiiference , just tell me what to do . shot

won't work
if you're behind a firewall, your RSS feed is not going to work. The ability to use the aggregator within Drupal assumes a public Internet connection. If you are using it on an Intranet or behind a firewall - it's not going to be able to get out to the public Internet and make the update.
Maybe you can find some forum posts where someone has modified the code to make this work, but out of the box I've seen no configuration to allow the aggregator to work via proxy.
