Description
The enclosed patch may need some review but it has worked well in my development environment.
There were some problems sharing the known user cookie across multiple sites. For instance, section1.mysite.com would create a known user cookie under the domain section1.mysite.com that would be unavailable to mysite.com.
Allowing the domain for the known user cookie to be configurable has allowed cookies created under section1.mysite.com to be accessible under the mysite.com domain, and not just the section1.mysite.com domain.
I've also included a setting for cookie lifetime ;)

Thanks - will check it out. =)
#2
#3
Are the two patches the same? If not, could you re-roll the patch in #2 in the same format as it is in the original post so I can see what has changed! =)
Thanks!
(Ps, hi, how's it going... ;-)
