Wow! Great module - just terrific. How difficult would it be to add Userpoints integration, so that a user could accumulate a certain amount of points depending on how much of his/her profile is filled in?

That would be perfect! Thanks so much for this - you guys/girls rock!

If anyone can make me a patch I'll be more then happy to include it! I don't have experience with the Userpoints API but it seems not so difficult to do.

You could do this with the rules integration. Both content_complete and userpoints support rules. One issue however is to make you assign the user points only once, but this should be handled by the rules module and not by content_complete.
