This really looks like a great project, You really should continue work on it. This is kinda "niche", because there aren`t many webmail modules around.

btw Is the project charset aware? It doesn`t show diacritical letters for me.

I'm reconsidering doing that. The direction that the Webmail Plus module has gone with it's 6.x port is not where I want to go on the site I use this module on. I am pressed for time, and there are a couple of performance improvements I want to work on with the 5.x version, so it might yet be a while before I get my round tuits. (And then I would need to continue on with the 7.x port...)

It should be, but since that is not something I normally get, it might be lacking. There is another issue about umlautes not showing up, that might be the answer to your problem.

I finally implemented changes I mentioned here: http://drupal.org/cvs?commit=194724

It's currently only in the dev release. Please report back so that I know it is actually fixed.
