I'm using the Spreadfirefox theme right now.
1.- The HTML-area buttons are suddenly 5 time bigger than in Bluemarine. How to resize those buttons again?
2.- When creating content that is wider than the "body between the sidebars", how can I prevent it from overlapping the "sidebars"?
3.- The first post is on top, but the rest of the posts appear below the sidebars, resulting in leaving lots of blank space. What's causing this and how to fix this?
I'd really appreciate all the available help:-)

HTML Area buttons
I'm using a hybrid spread firefox theme and I have this same issue with the toolbar buttons in HTML area. They are giant. Switching to bluemarine sets the HTML area buttons back to normal. I'm definitely curious what part of the Bluemarine theme controls the text-areas for node creation, then we might replicate that in the other themes? Although spread firefox is phptemplate...
any joy?
I'm having the same problem and haven't found anything under the html area.module bugs and issues.
Have you worked out how to stop the buttons going large?
Phil
This has been very odd for me
I never got to the bottom of this. On other installations of Drupal (same server), the HTML area buttons were normal, even in phptemplate themes. When I upgraded to 4.7., the issue with the big toolbar button went away, so maybe this is a bug that hasn't been addressed in 4.6, but it has been fixed in 4.7? I'm not sure. I had other problems with HTML area and 4.7, however (related to plugins and inserting images-- but I think these may have been fixed).
Sorry that I can't help further.
Maybe not Drupal's problem...
I just thougt about that it is possible that the problem lies in:
- The browser
- Updated files you need to download from Xinha-nightly (which is part of HTML-area)
- Extensions in your browser that causes your browser to be instable
(for example: right now I'm using Firefox, and I've installed an Javascript -blocker which allows me to choose from which websites I should run Javascript (after having this installed I can't use the builtin search-function bundled with Firefox, seems like it also uses Javascript, but the extension probably blocks what it doesnt recoqnizes {it doesnt ask me anything about this}. Outdated browser?
- Bug in the SpreadFirefox-theme that doesnt resize those buttons
- Server timeouts/response problems
Anyways whatever it is causing this, I'll post my solution whenever I get hold of one.
Thank you for the comments anyways=) Good to see that I'm not the only one!
I don't think its any of these issues:
The browser, server, plugins, and Xinha nightly are consistent for the installations when HTML area worked and when it didn't work. Contributed modules have varied (so this could also be the problem).
I've also thought that it could be a problem with a variable for HTML area in the variables table getting corrupted?
Yeah I seem to also have the
Yeah I seem to also have the problem of the text area/comment area shifting and widening to the right.
I posted it here: http://drupal.org/node/50392
Hope someone can give us a hand soon with this. Thanks again.
