I think it should be made clear right on the module homepage here on Drupal.org that Mollom is a commercial service with a monthly fee except for small, non-commercial sites with less than 100 captcha uses a day. As most modules don't have this restriction, it should be made clear to a possible user sooner rather than later.

We don't require this of other modules on drupal.org - why should we start here?

I don't think this is necessary. Other modules (e.g. Akismet) don't have such message either.

The following statement is not correct: except for small, non-commercial sites with less than 100 captcha uses a day. First, Mollom is also free to use for commercial sites. Second, more than 95% of all the sites can use Mollom Free without violating the volume limitations. In other words, it is not as bad as you make it sound. :)

That said, feel free to recommend a sentence to be added, and I'll consider adding it.
