Description

Hello,

I can't find how to make affinity work... It looks like very easy to set and use, but no way, I've always got "Cast some votes to get matched with other users."

Strange because some users have already cast lot of votes of the same node type...

Thanks for the help and this nice module :)

Hi:

In order to help you I need some more information. Which voting module are you using? It is important that you set the content type, value type, and tag properly. These will vary depending on the voting module.

Keep in mind, User 1 (admin account) is excluded from matches. Also, if you have modules such as Friendlist or User relationships enabled, users who are already a friend will not show up as a match.

Best regards,

Hi, Thanks! Good to know ^^

I'm using Extra voting forms, is it working with Affinity?

Yes - Extra Voting Forms works with Affinity.

Set Votingapi content type to node, Votingapi value type to points, and Votingapi tag to vote.

Let me know if that fixes your problem.

Thanks a lot! works fine...

I'm so dumb... I didn't change the votingapi value type to points... sorry.

Thanks again :)

ps: Now I suppose I have to costumize the block with CSS in order to have this: http://drupal.org/node/369511 or something else looking nice.

Is there a way to set a context u=UID for the advanced profile kit?

Now I suppose I have to costumize the block with CSS...

Not if you have the latest 6.x-1.x-dev version installed. Just edit the affinity block, and tick the Show user pictures checkbox.

I'm not familiar with Advanced profile.
