Hi all,

I am logged in as administrator and am trying to view user pages - each time I try to access a user I get

"Access denied
You are not authorized to access this page."

Logging is as an "authenticated user" gets the same result.

anonymous user locked
authenticated user locked

Both of the above roles are locked out. This pretty much stops me setting up users properly.

I can't even view or edit users when logged in as administrator.

What, if anything, am I doing wrong?

If this is not fixable - Drupal is no use to me. (I have spent a lot of time, so far, working on understanding Drupal)

It basically means that users can't access the backend as I want them to.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Go to User Management > Permissions, and check 'access user profiles' and 'administer users' in the authenticated user column. Save permissions. Try it again as an authenticated user.
