Description

Searched the forums but did not find a solution I can use (I am not a programmer).

I am using the latest version of Drupal 5. Along with that I am using CCK field privacy, APK, AF anf of course the Buddylist (for the CCK field privacy).

My problem:

I can not find any link anywhere on my site that allows me to add/invite a user to my buddylist.

I looked into the profiles, I looked at all the blocks and there is nothing below any userposts.

Am I overlooking something here?

Regards, Paul.

Found the error.

I was using a custom profile where I remade the profile with cck and the advanced profile kit. Therefore I was not using the normal user account display. So also there was no add to buddylist button.

Added the account display again. Now everything works.

dont understand this Paul. I am having the same problem with adding a buddy using advanced profile kit, no add buddy in the profiles, surely if you go back to the orginal profiles account you will lose your custom display. I thought the whole idea with advanced profiles was to get a better display!

If you use the Author Pane Module you'll have Add Buddy function.

It is a little graphical icon you can click on.
