After extensive trouble shooting i have not been able to apply simple access module permissions to an exhibit content type. It always says yes to everybody.

It gets the simple access group, but doesn't modify the in the permissions table like other content types.

i removed the hook_access & perm in the module to fix the my particular issue since i won't have anybody else creating exhibits, this appeared to work & didn't break anything that i can tell.
