Greetings,
I've got this over on Views, also, but what's going on is that I'm using Extra Voting Forms to collect votes on pieces of content (gosh, that's what it's for, isn't it?), and I've got some block views in panels to display top-n lists based on vote counts. When I edit any of these views, I can edit one or two, and then the Voting API fields go away. I can get them back by disabling/re-enabling Extra Voting Forms, but it's a bit of a hassle.
happy Friday XIII!
Bill

mercmobily commentedHi,
I really, really suspect this is not an EVF issue, but a VotingAPI/views issue. EVF does absolutely nothing with "Views" -- zero. It's ot even aware of it. I am not sure why dsabling EVF and re-enabling it fixes the problem.
Moving this to Voting API... Eaton, any clues?
Merc.

sunset_bill commentedI couldn't understand why Views and EVF should have anything to do with each other, either. It's only that disabling and re-enabling EVF got things back. No worries, it's a curiosity as much as anything. Maybe the Views folk will have some clue.
cheers,
Bill

eaton commentedViews integration in VotingAPI 5.x is fundamentally broken -- it works for a small number of cases but more complex cases like this are not supported. Views support was rewriten in the 2.x branch to fix these issues.
