Chatblock + Wysiwyg causes IE7 JS error "Object doesn't support this property or method"

Drupal 6.9, Chatblock 6.x-1.x-dev, Wysiwyg 6.x-0.5/6.x-1.x-dev/6.x-2.x-dev
When Chatblock is enabled, IE7 gives this error for any editor used with Wysiwyg. It causes the editor not to show, so the user is left with the default non-wysiwyg editor.
When Chatblock is disabled, the error goes away.
Confirmed to be present with Garland theme, and with no other contrib modules enabled.

Is this error present when Chatblock is enabled and the editor is not enabled? Can you let me know which line of code this is breaking on?
