Video format per field setting

It would be much better to have the video format(s) selected on a per field basis instead of globally.

Use case:

In my site I have 2 content types, one is for videos which is fine at a lower format/resolution and the other is screencasts which will need a higher format/resolution. Giving users the option to choose does not work because I then have to rely on the fact that they choose the right one and not both.
