Description

I updated my moviereview.module with the one listed as fixing the teaser & the breadcrumb. Now, I have some odd behavior. When I preview a movie review, the "trimmed" version looks just like the full version, and when the node is promoted to the front page, I see this "trimmed" version (ie - not trimmed at all).

I've changed the code on my book.module so that I get to see teasers of each child, instead of just the titles. In that version, I see just the excerpt (I installed the excerpt.module) instead of the entire "trimmed (but not trimmed" version. http://drupal.org/node/32149 is where I discussed the customized code for the book.module.

I manually cleared out my page & database cache just to make sure that wasn't causing the problem. It wasn't.

How do I get the trimmed version to be just the except like it is in my book.module? For reference, http://www.liberalthinkers.org/MediaResources is where the movie review is listed. It's of the new movie Good Night, and Good Luck.

I also have this problem on a fresh install of Drupal (4.6.0). But mine behaves a little differently. Teaser displays the entire first paragraph up until a line break of the synopsis.

I would also like the option for the teaser to be formed from the review itself - not the synopsis.

Hello,

Revision 1.6.2.6 of the module addresses the teaser issue, but it will still use the synopsis as primary teaser. If you don't write the synopsis, then it uses the review.

I'm sorry I can't change this now. Maybe I can create a setup option for version Drupal 5.

If someone can create a patch for this, it is welcome.

Cheers,
Emiliano.
