A small suggestion for the docs.. my last site was in D5 so setting up an installation profile for D6 I tried adding a module named "memcache", only to get constant errors. As it turned out I did not realize that with the D6 version there is no memcache module at all, so I suggest adding a quick note to the installation instructions indicating this fact. The attached file is food for thought.

+1 ... AND remove the .info file from the D6 package ... it's a big, fat red herring!! ;-)

I've just added back a memcache.module (optional), so this is no longer valid.
