Description

It's a strange thing. When I set my dimensions in the Flash node admin, they're being ignored in the display page. Maximum displayed width is set to 530 and height to 280. The FLV I'm using has these exact dimensions so it should be no problem to display it. In fact nothing should be resized whatsoever.

When I go to the post itself and set its dimensions explicitely to 530x280 it still won't apply it on the FLV. The flash window itself is Ok, it's being displayed as requested, but the FLV-content inside the flash window is shrinked to about 333px wide, for no particular reason.

I emptied my browser cache, cleared it in Drupal, and so on. No progress.

Any idea where it could have gone wrong? (It resizes the swf's for no reason as well)

Managed to solve the swf-issue, by disabling resizing altogether. But the FLV-issue remains. The strange thing is that the flash box hàs the dimensions I've given in the admin. The SWF is alright, but the FLV inside of it is shrinked. I'm baffled.

If the swf is sized correctly, it sounds like the problem is with your Flash video player (eg. JW Player) doing the resizing. Also keep in mind that if your Flash video player has a control bar, there will be some resizing of your movie because the height available for your movie will be the height of the swf minus the height of the control bar.
