Hi,
If a thread has already a few comments and along comes a user which uses, for example, the top reply button to open a new comment, his comment will squeeze in between two earlier comments instead of going to the bottom of the list. Is there a way around this?
thanks

dries arnolds1. Install Flatcomments
2. Remove the reply button on comments

lilon commentedThanks very much for that. I had a look and it looks very promising indeed. I could not work out however if it also fixes retroactively or only new comments. Any idea?
thanks

michelleI don't think it fixes them retroactively but I could be wrong. You'd have to ask in the flatcomments queue or try it to find out for sure.

charlie-s commentedIt does NOT fix them retroactively - that is, old posts will still look the same way. You could manually edit them, but in my case I think we'll just move forward. Thanks for the info ;)
Edit: I was wrong. You can go into several admin pages and change date and formatting of these content types to get old pages to look correct. I don't recall the locations specifically, but I was able to get old pages to correct themselves.

Saudor commentedGo to your admin -> Content Management - Comments
Change to Flat list - expanded and "oldest first"
